• Why not just practise with ChatGPT?

  You can, and it will tell you that was a great answer. It will also show you the rubric if you ask, let you retype until it reads well, and never make you speak under time pressure. Anika holds a rubric you do not get to see, ends your answer when you go quiet, and marks what you actually said out loud. That gap is the whole point.

• What does the feedback actually look like?

  A marking sheet. Every question carries a private list of the things a strong answer had to show, and each one comes back marked hit, partial, or missed with a quote of your own words as the evidence. Behavioural answers also get STAR coverage, and you see your words per minute and filler-word count. The per-answer detail comes with the Interview Pass; free interviews return the score and readiness band.

• Do you analyse my face, my tone, or my confidence?

  No, and we will not. Your camera is a local preview only — no video is uploaded and nothing is inferred from it. There is no emotion reading, no personality guess, and no confidence score derived from your voice, because none of that can be measured honestly. You are marked on what you said and how well it answered the question. Even speaking pace is withheld on very short answers, where it is noise rather than signal.

• What if I go blank, or have to leave halfway?

  Nothing is scored against you for it. Skipped and unreached questions are reported as coverage — listed with guidance, never counted as zero — so an interrupted session cannot produce a misleadingly low score. Leaving is not finishing, and the session stays resumable. Any single question from a finished report can also be re-practised against the same rubric without spending another interview.

• Is there a free plan?

  Yes. Every account gets 2 full AI interviews and 10 resume checks, plus PDF and Word downloads, with no card required. The Interview Pass adds more interviews and the detailed per-answer marking sheet.

• Is the Interview Pass a subscription?

  No. It is a single payment that opens 15 interviews for 30 days and then stops. Nothing auto-renews, so there is nothing to cancel. Students get 50% off.

• Do I need a microphone, and which languages can I answer in?

  A working microphone is required, since the point is rehearsing out loud. You can answer in English, Hindi, or a mix of the two — Anika always speaks English, which is how most interviews here actually run. Answering in Hinglish is not marked down and is not forced back into English.

• What happens to my resume and what I say?

  Matchscope stores submitted text, never raw microphone audio, and never your camera. Your resume is used to build your questions and your feedback, and nothing else. It is not shared with the companies named anywhere on this site.

• Will it rewrite my resume for me?

  No. Matchscope keeps your original wording and shows you the match score, the missing keywords, and specific suggestions you can accept or ignore. The edits are yours to make, so the resume still sounds like you.
