Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to Matchscope, an AI-assisted resume analysis and optimization service operated as an unregistered individual business in India. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use Matchscope for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.

Matchscope lets you upload a PDF or DOCX resume, compare its text with a job description, receive AI-assisted scores and suggestions, save work, and export tailored resume files where your account is eligible.

Scores, suggestions, rewrites, and extracted company details are automated outputs. They may be incomplete or incorrect and do not guarantee an interview, employment, applicant-tracking-system result, or any other outcome. You are responsible for reviewing every output before using it.

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your Google account and device, and notify us promptly if you believe your Matchscope account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may not share, sell, transfer, or provide automated access to your account or purchased credits.

You retain ownership of resumes, job descriptions, edits, and other content you submit. You grant Matchscope a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not unlawfully disclose another person's information or violate intellectual-property, confidentiality, or privacy rights. Avoid including information that is unnecessary for resume analysis.

Eligible free accounts currently receive three charged AI requests per calendar month. Resume parsing is not charged; analysis and rewrite requests are charged. We may change free usage limits prospectively.

Paid credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Purchased credits do not expire under the current product rules, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may only be used with the purchasing account. A completed pack purchase unlocks PDF and DOCX exports for that account.

Prices and pack contents are displayed on our Pricing page and at checkout. You authorize our payment provider to charge the selected payment method. Refunds are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

You may not misuse Matchscope or help anyone else do so. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Submitting malware, unlawful material, or content you do not have permission to use.
• Attempting to bypass quotas, payment controls, access restrictions, or service security.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, disrupting, or overloading the service.
• Using generated content to impersonate another person, fabricate qualifications, or facilitate fraud.

The service, brand, interface, software, and documentation—excluding your content—belong to Matchscope or its licensors. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the product. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, fraud, abuse, security risk, or legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export or delete your content.

Matchscope is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Matchscope will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or decisions made from AI output. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid to Matchscope during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or dispute remedies available under applicable law.

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account email, and the updated date will appear above.
